Minnie Vans Returning to Walt Disney World This Summer
Disney recently announced via TikTok that Minnie Vans will be returning to Walt Disney World this summer! Minnie Vans are powered through Lyft and are driven by experienced Disney World cast members. Previously, the Minnie Van service offered transportation both between Walt Disney World properties and between Walt Disney World resort hotels and Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Minnie Vans are a private transportation offering only available on Walt Disney World Property (or to and from MCO airport). The service runs through Lyft, a ride sharing program, and can be ordered through the Lyft app once they return this summer. Previously, Minnie Vans could seat parties up to six guests, have vehicle options available for guests with wheelchairs or ECVs, and offer car seats at no extra charge.
Costs vary based on destination and will be displayed in the Lyft app prior to booking. To book a Minnie Van once they’re available, you’ll need to open the Lyft app and choose your destination on Walt Disney World property. Then you’ll confirm your pick-up location and choose “Minnie Van” as the type of vehicle. The app will also give you an estimated pick-up time and the designated pick-up location (each park and resort has a ride share pick-up area). To go to or from Walt Disney World to Orlando International Airport (MCO) the current listed price is $155 one-way, not including gratuity. To book you’ll need to call (407) 939-7529 once the service returns with your flight information up to six months in advance. To book an accessible Minnie Van on Walt Disney World property you’ll need to call (407) 828-3500 45-60 minutes ahead of your desired pick-up time.
