Happy New Year! EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts is returning to Walt Disney World and we have all the details.
The International Festival of the Arts celebrates the creation of art and cuisine and includes Food Studios, Visual Arts and Galleries, a Figment-themed scavenger hunt, exclusive merchandise featuring Figment, Artful Photo Ops, and the return of the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series. Additionally, the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine will return, highlighting five sweet and savory offerings at the Festival of the Arts.
This year, Festival of the Arts will run from January 14th to February 21st. Admission is included with park tickets and a park pass reservation to EPCOT. This post will be updated as more information becomes available about the 2022 Festival of the Arts.
Food Studios and Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine
No EPCOT festival is complete without food booths! With fifteen Food Studios plus a few additional exclusive offerings, new food booths, returning favorites, and artful food and drink are available throughout the World Showcase. For a full list of all the food studios at Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts, check out our blog post with every menu, photos, and prices!
The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine is back! First you’ll need to pick up a Festival Passport. Then visit each Food Studio location and purchase a color-themed sweet or savory treat for a stamp in your passport. Once you receive all five stamps, present your passport to receive a free specialty Artist Palette Cookie! For a list of food studio locations and Colorful Cuisine items, read more here!
The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine can be completed in one day or throughout the whole festival. You can also get five of the same item or one of each offering- or any variation on the five offerings, as long as you get five stamps on your passport.
DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series
The DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series has returned to EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts! The Disney on Broadway Concert Series is headlined by Broadway stars performing songs from award-winning stage productions.
This popular concert series runs from January 14th to February 21st at the America Gardens Theatre in the America Pavilion at Epcot. There will be three shows a night at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8PM. We will update here if times change, but be sure to also consult the My Disney Experience app for the latest information. The Disney on Broadway Concert Series does have limited seating for performances so be sure to show up early for the performance you’re hoping to see! There are also Disney on Broadway Dining Packages available, which guarantees a seat to a performance that evening.
Visual Arts
Visual Arts are one of the main focuses of Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts! From Artists Galleries to Chalk Art, Animation Academy to a Paint-by-Numbers Mural, visual arts will be all over Epcot for the festival. Over 100 artists will be showcasing their work throughout the park as part of the festival- both Disney artists and visiting artists. There will be Artist Galleries around the park including:

There will also be lots of visual arts in performance and opportunities for guests to create their own art! Chalk Art Galleries and Chalk Full of Character will be found throughout EPCOT with chalk artists and create-your-own chalk art with Kid’s Chalk Art. The Expression Section: Paint by Numbers Mural will also be returning this year. Find it in the World Nature Area from 11AM to 5PM daily during the festival and paint a square to contribute to the collaborative mural.
If you enjoy watching visual artists at work, check out Visual Art in Performance where you can see artists speed-paint Disney Characters in minutes throughout the World Showcase. Or, if you also want to learn how to draw a Disney character, the Animation Academy will be back at the America Gardens Theater at the America Pavilion daily at 12:30pm and 1:30pm.
Figment’s Brush with the Masters- Scavenger Hunt
Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt is back at the festival. Search for Figment hiding in paintings throughout EPCOT to get a free prize!
