New Disney Springs Flavors of Florida Pairing Events

Flavors of Florida is back at Disney Springs this summer! Running from July 1st to August 11th, over 40 Disney Springs restaurants and shops will be celebrating flavors from the sunshine state with new dishes and drinks. Flavors of Florida is hosted by CORKCICLE and event guides will be available at the Disney Springs Welcome Center and participating locations.

The Disney Springs Flavors of Florida Pairing Events are new this year! Pairing events are hosted by select restaurants and include specially curated menus and beverage pairings featuring Florida-inspired flavors. Event dates, times, price, locations, and menus vary depending on the restaurant - check out more details below! Tickets are required in advance to attend and can be purchased at the links below.

Disney Springs Flavors of Florida Pairing Events

The Edison

  • Pairing event where you’ll make your own cocktails

  • Learn to make 3 cocktails with local ingredients from senior mixologists, featuring St. Augustine Distillery

  • Paired with light bites including:

    • Honey Roasted Nuts featuring Petal Honey from Orlando, FL

    • Key West Pink Shrimp & Corn Hushpuppies - Shrimp cornbread fritters and spicy Florida orange marmalade

    • Circuit Board - Country ham & house buttermilk biscuits, pickles, Sugar Top Farms’ peach butter

  • Event format is based on The Edison’s Shaken & Stirred classes

  • July 6th and July 27th from 1pm to 3pm

  • $100 per ticket, plus tax and gratuity

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

  • 3-Course brunch with spirited beverage pairings hosted by Chef Art Smith, a 2-time James Beard Award winner and Florida native and featuring local Florida ingredients

  • Menu:

  • Welcome Cocktail

    • Dragon Fruit Mojito - Siesta Key Silver Rum, dragon fruit, prickly pear simple syrup, and fresh mint

  • First Course - Mini versions of Homecomin’ signatures & drink pairing

    • Tampa-Inspired Cuban Sandwich - Smoked pork, shaved country ham, house made pickles, yellow mustard, and Swiss cheese pressed between slices of fresh Cuban bread

    • Church Lady Deviled Eggs - Southern-style deviled eggs

    • Bee Haven Bay Fried Green Tomatoes - Shaved ham, remoulade sauce, and dressed local greens

    • Florida Crush - Tito’s Vodka, muddled orange and strawberries, splash of fresh-squeezed orange juice, and agave syrup

  • Main Course - Choice of one entrée and one side item plus drink pairing

    • Hallelujah Biscuit - Open-faced biscuit topped with Chef Art’s famous fried chicken, two over easy eggs, pimento cheese, pecan-smoked bacon, and sawmill gravy

    • Fried Chicken & Donuts - Two pieces of Chef Art’s famous fried chicken served with Everglazed’s sugar doughnuts

    • Fried Egg & Avocado Toast - Grilled Cuban bread topped with fresh avocado, fried egg, arugula, radish, and pickled red onion drizzled with olive oil and lemon

    • Sides - Bradley’s Grits, Pecan-Smoked Bacon, Potato Gratin Mash, Griddled Country Ham, or Seasonal Fruit

    • Southern Mary - Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, Whiskey Willy’s Bloody Mary Mix with pecan-smoked bacon, fried green tomato, pimento cheese-stuffed olives, and salted rim

  • Sweet Finale - Mini donuts and drink pairing

    • Sampling of mini donuts baked fresh by Everglazed including Strawberry Cake, Citrus Dream, and Cafe Mocha

    • Espresso Martini - Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, vodka, and cold brew concentrate, shaken

  • $140 per ticket, plus tax and gratuity

  • Chef Art Smith has invited farmer friends and food purveyors from Hamilton County, Florida to meet and greet participants

  • Seating will be at communal tables - if you are attending with friends it helps to purchase tickets together so you will be seated together

  • Plated 5-course seafood dinner paired with wines, created by Executive Chef Steven Richard and the Paddlefish beverage team using ingredients found locally in Florida

  • Courses include:

    • First Course -

      • Cedar Key Surf & Turf - Stuffed Middlenecks, nuduja, and grilled lemon

      • Spanish Cava Mas Fi

    • Second Course-

      • Etouffe - Key West pink shrimp, lump crab, and Jupiter brown rice

      • Paddlefish White

    • Third Course -

      • Tilefish - Miso, sweet corn, and mushrooms

      • Braised Short Ribs - Red wine demi glace, local exotic mushrooms, Jupiter rice grits

  • Multi-course lunch featuring Florida-inspired cuisines paired with wines, led by Master Sommelier George Miliotes

  • Members of the culinary and sommelier teams will visit during your meal to talk about the pairing process

  • Courses include:

    • The Big Board (6 artisanal cheeses and 5 artisanal meats) paired with Saint Hilaire Crémant de Limoux Brut Rosé

    • Grilled Scallop Ceviche paired with a Florida Frojito

    • Citrus Cured Pork Loin paired with La Kiuva Picotendeo – Valle d’Aosta, Italy

    • White Chocolate Cake with Florida Peach Ice Cream paired with Ordóñez, N° 1 Selección Especial, Muscat – Málaga, Spain

Jaleo by José Andrés

  • Special pairing event inspired by authentic Spanish cuisine and local Florida ingredients sourced from Southern Hill Farms, curated by Head Chef Kristoffer Anderson

  • Begins with a 30-minute reception with cocktails, sample bites, and mingling with mixologists, bar managers, and chefs followed by an 8-course meal with the Chef taking you through each course and pairing

  • Courses including the following and more:

    • Florida Tomato Tartar with baby romaine lettuce

    • Mixed Green Salad with strawberries and Granny Smith apples

    • Josper Grilled Florida Spiny Lobster with sautéed white beans

    • Texturas of Florida Grapefruit and Yogurt Olive Oil Ice Cream

  • Drink pairings include:

    • Sangria with Florida Citrus

    • Local Florida Beer
