Typhoon Lagoon Reopens at Disney World Resort

Typhoon Lagoon Water Park at Walt Disney World Resort reopened to guests January 2nd, 2022! Typhoon Lagoon is home to North America’s largest outdoor wave pool, the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, as well as the lazy river Castaway Creek, the Humunga Kowabunga flume slide, the water slide / roller coaster hybrid (aka a water coaster) Crush ‘n’ Gusher, and the recent white water family raft ride Miss Adventure Falls.

Typhoon Lagoon also has an all-new frozen dessert bar menu at Snack Shack featuring Dole Whip treats. New options include mix and match Dole Whip flavors including mango, lime, pineapple, and raspberry; alcoholic additions to Dole Whip of tequila, coconut rum, or dark rum; and new Moana inspired cones including:

  • Hei Hei Cone — Dole Whip pineapple and raspberry soft serve ($5.29)

  • Motunui Island Twist — Dole Whip lime soft serve ($5.29)

Additionally, some new Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary treats are available at Typhoon Lagoon, including:

  • Loaded Nachos with Walt’s Chili ($11.99) (Snack Shack)

  • EARidescent Ice Dream Cone — Birthday Cake flavored soft serve swirl with a white chocolate dipped cone and EARidescent sprinkles ($5.29)
