Disney+ Series “The Santa Clauses” Logo and First Look
As part of Disney’s celebration of Halfway to the Holidays, the new Disney+ series logo and first image of the cast for The Santa Clauses was officially released! The Santa Clauses will be released on Disney+ during the 2022 holiday season.
The series will be set “some time” after The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. The cast includes Tim Allen (Santa Clause / Scott Calvin), Elizabeth Mitchell (Mrs. Clause / Carol) returning; Austin Kane (Cal) and Elizabeth Allen Dick (Sandra) (Tim Allen’s real-life daughter) as the two children of Santa and Mrs. Clause; Kal Penn (Simon Choski) and Rupali Redd (Grace, Simon’s daughter); and Devin Bright (Noel, Santa’s right-hand elf) and Matilda Lawler (Betty, Chief of Staff elf). Disney Parks Blog also shared a synopsis of the film, as following:
“…picks up with Scott Calvin on the brink of his 65th birthday. Realizing he can’t be Santa forever as he suddenly starts to lose his Santa magic, he sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the North Pole.”
