Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser - Lightsaber Training

One of the most exciting activities on-board the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser hotel is the Lightsaber Training. While little is known yet about this experience as it was unfinished for the recent press preview, we did get a small preview at Destination D23 in November. Lightsaber Training will have guests using lightsabers and shields to block blaster bolts from a wall-mounted remote training device. You’ll have to deflect laser beams fired from the wall, and the lightweight training lightsaber will be responsive featuring sounds and haptic vibrations. Guests must be 7 or older to participate in Lightsaber Training.

The lightsaber that will be used for training is only meant for this experience and won’t be available for sale. Additionally, the training lightsaber will not be the new retractable blade lightsaber that Disney has teased a few times. The expectation is that the retractable blade lightsaber will only be used by cast members in performance and will not be available to guests.
