Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser - Costumes & Guidelines
For the first time at Disney Resort, you’re not only allowed but encouraged to wear a costume while on board the Halcyon. As long as you stay within the set guidelines, Disney invites you to “dress the part of your unique Star Wars character”- costumes, DisneyBounds, Disney style, or a comfortable vacation outfit are all acceptable on the Galactic Starcruiser.
There are some guidelines- scroll down to see them in full. In short, no offensive outfits, prop weapons, or costume masks that fully cover your face are allowed. Some costume masks are allowed for children 13 and under but they cannot cover the eyes. However, face and body paint, as well as wigs and costume headwear that doesn’t cover the face are allowed.
When you go on your planet excursion to Batuu, you’re required to follow the attire guidelines for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Adults are not allowed to wear costumes in Disney Parks- more details are listed in the costume guidelines below.
If you’re planning to wear a costume, there are a few items available on shopDisney.com that we have linked below. Additionally, costumes and apparel will be available on the Halcyon in the Chandrila Collection gift shop, including lekku and montrail headwear for children and adults. You’ll want to save your best outfit for the gala celebration at the end of the voyage!
