Exciting food news! Three Walt Disney World restaurants will be reopening soon- Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk, The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. All three are table-service Signature restaurants and will feature returning favorites and new dishes.

Reopening dates:

  • Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk – January 27th

  • The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa – February 3rd

  • Jiko — The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – February 17th

Returning menu items:

  • Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort – February 15th

  • Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort – January 31st


Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk will be reopening on January 27th. This table service Signature restaurant features seafood and steak. Disney Parks Blog highlighted a few dishes, including:

  • Seafood Pearl Pasta – Shrimp, lobster, scallops, clams and mussels ($55)

  • Plancha-Seared Scallops with savory grits, sweet corn and Peppadew emulsion ($49)

  • Cocoa Breach – Vanilla custard, chocolate bavarois, feuillentine crunch ($14)

Additionally, Flying Fish will also reopen with a new Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary themed dessert:

  • 50th Celebration Midnight Lemon – Fresh berries, crispy meringue and sweet lemon ($12)


The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will reopen on February 3rd. This Signature Dining table service restaurant features popular American flavors. The highlighted dishes include:

  • New York Cider-Braised Mussels with garlic, chorizo, fennel, Fresno chili, apple cider, grilled baguette ($18)

  • Grilled Pork Chop – Fennel pollen-dusted pork chop, sweet potato purée, cannellini beans, baby kale, 'nduja vinaigrette ($26.50)

  • Braised Lamb Tagliatelle – Braised lamb shank, house-made tagliatelle pasta, peas, crispy potato straws, whipped goat cheese, and sherry gastrique ($28)

  • New York Cheesecake with berry sauce, Chambord-macerated berries, Brachetto crème, and crisp meringue (Made with alcohol) ($9.50)

Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will reopen on February 17th. Jiko is a very popular Signature Dining table service restaurant that features tastes and flavors of African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine. Two dishes highlighted by Disney Parks Blog include:

  • Seafood Tagine – Saffron-scented couscous, prawns, scallops, squid, and littleneck clams ($47)

  • Kilimanjaro – Single-Origin Ghanaian dark chocolate mousse, pistachio financier, pink peppercorn meringue, cocoa nib crunch, Ras el Hanout pineapples ($11)

Additionally, Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will have returning dining experiences.

On February 15th, buffet breakfast and dinner will be returning to Cape May Café. Breakfast will feature an omelet station, beef hash, pull-apart bread, Mickey & Minnie waffles, and more. Dinner buffet has lots of New England themed dishes including a seafood boil, cornbread, and a carving station.

At Ale & Compass, some breakfast favorites and new lunch items will arrive on January 31st. Disney Parks Blog highlighted the Blueberry Bacon Pancakes, which sound delicious, don’t you think?
