New “Rainbow Connection” Spaceship Earth Light Show Celebrating EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts

Disney announced today that EPCOT’s park icon Spaceship Earth will be getting a Festival of the Arts-themed makeover! With colorful rainbows on the newly installed light fixtures, the gorgeous golf ball will also be accompanied by The Muppets song “Rainbow Connection”. After the nightly Beacons of Magic show the Rainbow Connection Spaceship Earth will play until park close.

Wow! I can’t wait to see this in person. The Spaceship Earth dream lights are one of my favorite new additions for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Plus…Muppets and rainbows!
