Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024 at Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is back at Walt Disney World for the holiday season! Running for 25 nights, the Christmas party at Magic Kingdom will take place on select dates from November 8th to December 20th from 7pm to 12am.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is full of event-exclusive entertainment, festive decor, rides and attractions - including a few with holiday overlays, delicious sweets and treats, cookies and hot cocoa, “snowfall” on Main Street, U.S.A., special Disney character appearances, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, and more. Tickets went on sale on July 10th and are available to purchase online or over the phone. Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort had access to purchase tickets as early as July 2nd. Ticket prices vary depending on the date and range from $169-$219. A $10 discount will be available for select dates for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders (APs), Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members, and cast members with more details on Cast Life.
Mickey’s Very Merriest Christmas Party runs from 7pm to midnight but ticket holders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm on the date of their ticket. The park closes at 6pm to day guests. Date-specific event tickets don’t require a day theme park ticket or park pass reservations for Magic Kingdom.
When you check in to the party you will receive a wristband and special event map. Check in for guests with party tickets only will be at the main entrance to Magic Kingdom, starting at 4pm. Guests with day tickets or annual passes and park pass reservations can pick up a wristband and map inside the park. In years past, wristband pickup locations are in Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland but could change.
After you check in to the party be sure to walk through the entrance area to the right on Main Street, U.S.A. near Tony’s Town Square restaurant. In 2023, this event-exclusive area on Market Street had a Toy Soldier meet and greet, dancing snowflakes, snow, and an ornament gift with ticket purchase!
Entertainment - Shows, Parades, & Characters
This year, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will include Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show. Frozen Holiday Surprise has a second performance on party nights exclusive to party guests. Additional entertainment includes dance parties including Club Tinsel and Disney Jingle Junior Jam, characters in their holiday best and rare character sightings, the Reindeer Wranglers, and photo opportunities and more on Market Street when guests enter the party! Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is the must-see holiday parade at the party! This year, the holiday parade will be running twice nightly during the Christmas party and steps off in Frontierland at 8:30pm and 11pm. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will feature dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers, Disney characters in Christmas outfits, Frozen characters, giant Disney Princess floats, Santa Claus, and more.
ASL performances will be on Monday, November 11th, Thursday, December 5th, Tuesday, December 10th, and Thursday, December 19th with additional potential dates as requested, based on availability with at least two weeks notice.
Day guest without party tickets who will be at the Magic Kingdom between December 21st and December 25th may be able to see Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during the day. In years past, the Christmas parade runs during regular park hours once the party is over until Christmas.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
Minnie Mouse will be hosting the Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The fireworks display features castle projections, fireworks, and seasonal carols including “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. The fireworks will start at 10pm nightly during the party and can be seen all around Magic Kingdom.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Mickey and his pals will take to the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage at Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, with dance performances, a medley of holiday songs, lots of characters in holiday outfits, and snow! There will be four performances of Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration during the Christmas party at 7:40pm, 9:25pm, 10:35pm, and 11:55pm.

Frozen Holiday Surprise
Frozen Holiday Surprise takes place on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage. The show takes place twice on party nights at TBA (daily for all guests) and 8:15pm (available only on party nights for party guests). Frozen Holiday Surprise features Olaf and over 100 of his Snowgie siblings as well as Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff in their holiday outfits. The show features music from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, castle projections, and has interactive MagicBand+ features with lights and haptic vibrations.
Club Tinsel
Club Tinsel will be back again this year for a holiday dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland! Last year, the dance party featured a DJ, elves, Chip ‘n Dale, and Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde (Zootopia) in holiday outfits. The performances run throughout the night from 7pm to midnight.
Disney Junior Jingle Jam
Check out the Disney Junior Jingle Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Tomorrowland! This dance party features favorites from Disney Junior shows including Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and The Lion Guard and is perfect for younger party guests. The performances run throughout the night from 7pm to midnight.
Reindeer Wranglers
Information from 2023 - have yet to be announced for 2024
The Reindeer Wranglers are a small country music string band performing classic holiday tunes in Frontierland. They perform exclusively during the party outside the Country Bear Jamboree at 7:15pm, 8:05pm, 9:30pm, and 11:40pm.
Disney Characters
Disney characters will be around Magic Kingdom for meet and greets and photo opportunities in their holiday best. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has some exclusive and rare character outfits. Many attractions will be open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Five attractions have a “holiday twist”, holiday-themed event overlays, including Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, and Jungle Cruise, which transforms into Jingle Cruise for the holiday season. Attractions that will be open during the event include:

Complimentary cookies and beverages will be throughout the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Allergy-friendly options are also available- be sure to ask a cast member if that is a requirement for you or your party members. Last year, the cookie options were chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, red velvet, sugar, and gingerbread and the beverage options were hot cocoa, eggnog, and apple cider. The cookies and beverage locations and offerings are:

New this year, select quick service dining locations will be open for dinner including Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Casey’s Corner, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, The Friar’s Nook, and Sleepy Hollow. Three table service restaurants will also be open during the party for dinner - Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table, and The Plaza Restaurant. Reservations are only available to party-goers and are highly recommended. Table service restaurants are not included in the cost of the ticket and are priced separately from the event.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party is a separately priced add-on to the Christmas party ticket that includes all-you-care-to-enjoy holiday treats and exclusive viewing areas for the fireworks.
The buffet will feature holiday-themed desserts including Candy Cane Tarts, desserts, cheeses, fresh fruit, and beverages including hot chocolate, signature lemonades, coffee, tea, and an assortment of beer and wine for guests over the age of 21.
Two ticket options are available - one for seated fireworks viewing at Tomorrowland Terrace and one for standing fireworks viewing at Plaza Garden. Seated viewing tickets are $112 per adult and $71 per child before tax. Standing viewing tickets are $93 per adult and $55 per child before tax. Check-in is at the entrance of Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant in Tomorrowland one hour prior to the fireworks for seated viewing tickets and 1.5 hours prior to fireworks for standing viewing tickets.
Merchandise
Special Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party exclusive merchandise will be available at the party at the Main Street Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. and Star Traders in Tomorrowland. The merchandise collection this year features apparel including Spirit Jerseys, long-sleeve shirts, and t-shirts plus mugs, ornaments, pins, and more. Additional holiday merchandise is available throughout Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and on Disney Store. Photo Opportunities
Disney PhotoPass will have many festive photo opportunities available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Attractions with on-ride photos during the event include Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and more. Festive 3D backdrops and Magic Shots are available throughout Magic Kingdom with some available for the whole holiday season and others as party exclusives.
