The celebratory Disney 100th anniversary handcar is reproduction of Lionel’s No. 1100 Mickey Mouse Handcar, originally sold during the holiday season of 1934. The original established Lionel’s reputation in the model train market, selling more than 250,000 pieces. The reproduction comes with a certificate of authenticity uniquely numbered and signed by Lionel CEO Howard Hitchcock. It includes a circle of two-rail track and wind-up mechanism and a stamped metal handcar with resin Mickey and Minnie Mouse figures and cast metal wheels, all like the original 1930s toy.
