Disney’s Animal Kingdom Summer Entertainment Updates

Disney recently announced some updates about entertainment at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World! One announcement in particular has me somewhat concerned as I’m currently obsessed with KiteTails and would hate to see the show change in any substantial way. Fingers crossed that isn’t the case!
Disney KiteTails (my new favorite show at Disney World) will move to shorter and more frequent performances throughout the day for the summer, with the focus of the show changing so it can be seen from anywhere around the Discovery River Lagoon
Between KiteTails performances, Character Flotillas will sail on Discovery River including Mickey and friends and Timon, Rafiki, and Pocahontas
The Tumble Monkeys and Acrobatic Birds will be returning to Festival of the Lion King this summer
Mickey & Minnie will return to Adventurers Outpost for meet and greets “in the coming months”
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! will be opening “in the coming months” with more updates on Disney Parks Blog soon, including a behind-the-scenes update with the creative team
