Main Street Confectionary Reopens at Magic Kingdom
Main Street Confectionery reopened at Magic Kingdom on September 29th! After a lengthy refurbishment, the confectionery opened in time to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
The Main Street Confectionery has a number of new areas, including:
“Color Kitchen” - a new colorful candy wall featuring 38 different varieties of Mars candy to make your own bag
“Kernel Kitchen”- a custom popcorn area where you can create a delicious popcorn mix.
“Glacier Kitchen”- a refreshment area carrying lemonade, blue raspberry, Powerade, and some specialty drinks like the Orange Brrr’d and The Cold-leidoscope
With a new host in Mars Wrigley, the Main Street Confectionery has many new treats that incorporate popular candies like M&Ms, Twix, and Skittles. There is also a new wall featuring Mars candy- it’s perfect for your next Instagram photo!
Pre-packaged treats are available for purchase, including 50th Anniversary themed items. In late October, 50th Anniversary EARidescent M&M’s in a special container will be for sale.
While there are many new treats, the old favorites are available too. Guests are still able to watch cast members making and decorating candy apples and rice cereal treats in the confectionery candy kitchen. With over 30 new exclusive items including 50th Anniversary and Halloween treats, the Main Street Confectionery is the perfect place to stop and satisfy your sweet tooth!
