Starting in early 2022, Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be closed for a lengthy refurbishment. The ride will be closed from January 4, 2022 until mid-April 2022.

Disney has not announced any major plans for Expedition Everest so this is expected to be for routine maintenance.
